I have tried checking for graphic card driver updates - there are none. I have tried a complete reinstall of the Premier - took well over an hour at an internet cafe!! But not difference. Report ID: 4db95b44-5287-444a-b0ec-9da0f1661bdcįaulting package-relative application ID:

(Was working the day before joining the ship)Įxception log gives the following information:įaulting application name: Adobe Premiere Pro.exe, version: 12.0.0.224, time stamp: 0x59d4c660įaulting module name: ucrtbase.dll, version: 3.674, time stamp: 0x8ac9f9d4įaulting application start time: 0x01d3895a189984f2įaulting application path: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018\Adobe Premiere Pro.exeįaulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\System32\ucrtbase.dll Premiere CC 2018 crashes on start up with "Premiere CC 2018 has stopped working" error. I am currently working on cruise ship and have very limited internet access - only when in port and then very poor connections. I know that I can turn an image in Premiere but this takes time and we fear that if this is a bug that will one day be fixed, vertical images that we "rotate" in Premiere will eventually be sideways in our timeline after an update.ĭoes anyone know why Premiere has stopped recognizing vertical JPG images? If we open the jpg in Photoshop and re-save it, Premiere will then import the image correctly but older vertical images on our computers that were shot with different cameras and exported via Lightroom, still will not import correctly until they are re-saved in Photoshop. If we rotate the image in Windows, it has no effect when we import the file into Premiere. We recently updated 3 of our computers to Premiere 2017 and vertical images will not import vertically anymore they come in horizontal, even though Windows and every other program recognizes them as a vertical shot. We use Premiere every day on 9 different computers in our office and we are constantly importing both video files and still images. If anyone can give me any clues, I'd be grateful. I have 3 projects due in a week that have to be done in Premiere. It's an old laptop, but it should be able to run premiere. The command prompt only shows a blinking underscore, then closes after 2 minutes.
I've cut/pasted ImporterQuicktime.prm into a different folder, but then it hangs on a different plugin.

Please update your video display drivers and start again. Premier could not find any capable video play modules. Last week I installed the latest version of Adobe Premier on my pc.
